Frequently asked questions
1. When can I collect my kitten?
Kittens are ready for collection at 13 weeks old, per GCCF (Governing Council of the Cat Fancy) guidelines.
This allows us enough time to ensure your kitten is:
Fully vaccinated with a strong immune system
Properly weaned and eating independently
Litter-trained
Well-socialised, confident, and ready for a smooth transition to their new home
We believe this extra time sets your kitten up for a happy, healthy life with you ❤️
2. What should I do after I take my kitten home?
Set up a quiet space with litter box, food, water, and a cozy bed
Give them time to adjust — keep things calm and gentle
Stick to their current routine for food and litter to ease the transition
Introduce other pets slowly, with scent-swapping and supervised sessions
Book a vet check within the first week
Buy pet insurance early for peace of mind
Transfer microchip and pedigree ownership into your name
🐾 And most importantly — give them lots of love and patience 🐾
3. Can I bring a new kitten into a multi-cat household?
Yes, with a slow and gentle introduction, most kittens adapt well to living with other cats.
Start by keeping the new kitten in a separate room.
Exchange scents using bedding or cloths.
Introduce them gradually with short, supervised sessions.
Ensure enough resources (litter trays, food bowls, beds) for everyone.
4. Do you offer a health guarantee for your kittens?
Yes, we offer two types of health guarantees:
30-Day FIP Guarantee
If your kitten is diagnosed with FIP within the first 30 days after collection, we will work with you on a fair resolution, as outlined in our contract.
Lifetime Genetic Health Guarantee
All of our breeding cats are DNA-tested and clear of known hereditary diseases (especially relevant to BSH), giving you peace of mind that your kitten is genetically healthy.
In addition, all kittens go home:
Vet-checked, vaccinated, and dewormed
Free from parasites or contagious illness at the time of collection
Raised in a clean, loving, and enriched environment
